So, yesterday I mentioned the hurt ankle. Now its time for the pictures. Click on thumbnail for larger, grosser pics.
WARNING: Not suitable for all audiences!
For those that are wondering, the injury occured while playing softball. I was pitching and Darrin was hitting. I pitched, he hit, I jumped, I landed, the ball hit me, I fell. As for the softball, I am on a team with some of the peeps that I work with and other friends. Our team site can be found at Team Bad Guy News.
My ankle hurts. Thanks, Darrin.
UPDATE: The pressure of wearing a sock makes it hurt more.
I look forward to being reunited with Cameron and Roberto tonight. Its been too long since the last time we hung out.
Added a counter. I’m the only visitor. Plus, everything should be uploaded now.
Went to the Brick Store. Had fun.
Today at work someone asked me why I call Mark ‘Mapk’. After telling the story, it was suggested that I post it to my blog. So here we go:
I work with this guy named Mark. We are in software development. He wrote two applications that were very similar and went through the testing and deployment (what I work on) process at the same time. The apps were called ‘Daily AR Reconciliation’ and ‘Daily AP Reconciliation’. When it was time to deploy I created deployment documents for both of these apps. Since the information for their deployment was exactly the same except that one says ‘AR’ and the other ‘AP’ I merely copied the AR doc and did a global search and replace on the letters ‘ar’. This seemed like a good idea at the time. Of course I didn’t think about the fact that there are other words in the English language that have the combination of ‘ar’ together. For example: the word Mark. So it changed Mark’s name to Mapk. And there you have it. Mapk.
Out of all of the nicknames that I have ever come up with in my life, I think that this is my favorite.
