Sometimes when you order a double tall rum and coke and a double tall jack and coke you actually get two double tall jack and cokes. Then when you try to fix that by ordering another double tall rum and coke you will again get a jack and coke. When this happens its best to stop trying to get your waitress to provide you with the necessary drink and go to the bar yourself and start a tab.

I work with this guy named Don. At first I don’t think he liked me because I used to hang out with this guy named Mike that talked really loud and Don has sensitive ears. Now, we get along pretty well.

Had a great weekend. The highlight was a Hula themed double birthday party on Saturday night for Allison and Shelby. What a fun time. Photos from the extravaganza can be seen in the photo section.

Anyway, added some stuff to the side. I felt that I should have blog links on my blog main page. Just seems to make sense. Also added what I am currently reading and the DVD I most recently watched. I am not entirly sure that I like the way that it looks. Possibly too much clutter.

Alfie and I had an amazing dinner last night at La Tavola Trattoria here in the Highlands. I had the Zuppa di Pesce and she had the Baked Manicotti. The Zuppa was excellent. It had clams, mussels, shrimp, and scallops, which are all pretty common to a dish such as this. An interesting addition was salmon, yum. Very nice touch. My dad would love this dish.

As mentioned in the title, there was reason to celebrate. Alfie was able to find a new contract job. The job is contract-to-perm, so there are some great opportunities there for her. Congrats!

That’s about all for now. I’m thinking about adding some new stuff to the main page here. Nothing that spectacular, just some things I’ve been meaning to add.
