completely incomplete.

Writers have been selected for the second draft of the Ender’s Game screenplay. IMDb lists the release date as sometime in 2006. Seems far off, but hopefully it’ll result in a quality flick.

I’m pumped because I just ordered 1 gbs of ram. It’ll sure be nice to upgrade from my weak ass 256 mbs. Many thanks to Koldric and Rock/Zalt (almost sounds like Rock Salt) for the assistance with all the help.

I used to think that an egg and cheese sandwich was the way to go after a night out, but I have recently decided that peanut butter toast is really the best thing. Word.

I picked up a game called Freedom Fighters for the PC the other day. Its a pretty cool 3rd person shooter from EA games. The story line is pretty interesting: The Soviets were the first to develop and use the hydrogen bomb during WWII. This lead them to take over most of Europe. Time goes by, they place nukes in Cuba, and the Mexican Communist party wins a large election to our South. The game takes place in the present day within a Soviet occupied Manhattan. You play a NYC plumber (not Mario or Luigi) that is thrust into the action by joining up with a small, but expanding group of Freedom Fighters. The best part is that you have a monkey wrench at your disposal for hand-to-wrench combat if needed and you get to travel through the sewer system. Also, as you clear certain stages, you get to hoist the old Red White and Blue over the formally held Soviet locations.

I also recently d/led the Unreal Tournament 2004 demo. Its great fun. My personal favorite is the Mini-Gun as it reminds me of the gun carried by Jesse “The Body” Ventura in the film Predator.

The Digital Bits is reporting that Ain’t It Cool News is reporting that Bubba Ho-Tep is coming to dvd on 05/25 from MGM. Scroll down a bit on TDB to find the brief info.

So I finally beat Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Man, was this game awesome. You get to choose either the dark side (totally bitchin’) or the light side (for girls). Everything you do in the game helps determine which side of the Force you align yourself with. Naturally, I chose the dark side. The dark Force powers are so much more fun to use. Plus, you get to be a smartass in the game.

If you have billions of hours to devote to a video game, I would go with this one. It is available for both the Xbox and PC. I have the PC version and think I’m going to check out some of the mods that are available for it before I retire this game for good. Oh yeah, if you go with the PC version you will need a pretty beefy video card and about 4 gigs of hd space. Long live Darth bobafred!
