completely incomplete.

Saturday day was spent really far north in Cumming, GA at the wedding of one of my best buddies, David and his beautiful new wife, Julie. It was great fun. I’m truly happy for both David and Julie. They make a perfect couple.

Photos can be seen HERE. (This time I really think I fixed the problem with the pics loading slow. Just for this set of photos, though.)

Also, as expected, my golf game was crap the other day.

So tomorrow I am going to play golf. I haven’t played in probably 2 years. It should be funny to watch and frustrating to participate in. At least I am not going to work.

A new trend that I am subscribing to is to start a book and then never finish it. So, I never finished Alan Turing: The Enigma. It covers the life and times of Alan Turing, the most interesting person I learned about during my entire college career. My CS professor turned a boring Computational Theroy class discussion into something that actually held my attention. I think the author spends too much time on Mr. Turing’s childhood. I got bored. I’m sure at some point I’ll pick this back up and maybe skip a few hundred pages to get to the meat of the nerdy content.

Anyway, I am heading back into the world of fiction with another Dan Brown novel. This time I am reading Deception Point. Out of all of his novels, it was the least appealing to me. But, since The Da Vinci Code is apparently never coming out in paperback, I figured I would give it a read. His books thus far have been excellent.

Way back on June 12 2004, Eric and Lindsey got married. It was great fun to be back in Athens with the old CS crew. The wedding was great, the food was awesome, and Eric’s cake rocked the house. The pics I took can be found here: Wedding pics. After awhile, they get slow to load and I cannot figure out why. I think my web host is crap or something. Anyway, I am tired of trying to figure out why this happens. Just deal with it.

Another nice thing about that weekend was the cheap ass prices in the bars. I got a *pitcher* of rum and coke for $6. Yes, an entire pitcher. I later found out from a bartender in crappy Gwinnett county that they would not even be legally able to sell you that much rum at once. Athens is nice.

I should have posted about this last week.
