Everyone’s favorite British Chicagoan, Adam (aka: Ducky), was in the ATL for a kickass weekend of fun.
Saturday was dinner at Manuel’s Tavern and then bar hopping through The Highlands. I remember rum and cokes and a few shots and a waffle at the Majestic. We had fun. Thanks to Sarah Foo for driving our drunk asses around.
Sunday we took Adam over to Atlantic Station for lunch at Fox Sports Grill. It’s a little fancy for a sports bar, but the food was pretty good, and not too expensive. One thing that I really didn’t like was the bathroom attendant. I hate those guys. After lunch we walked around a little and took some photos. Later on we watched Harold and Kumar Goto White Castle, which I’ve never seen before.
It was great to see Adam again and party it up a little. I also enjoyed getting to see some of the friends that I don’t get to see too often any more.
On this date last year, we had a pretty bad ice storm. On this date this year, we’re looking at a high in the low to mid 60s. Winters are crazy in the ATL.
I went to my WP admin page tonight to check on some stuff and saw a new section called ‘Incoming Links’ in the Dashboard. I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen this before. Is this some new service that was dormant in the code and recently went live? The More link goes to a Technorati search for my URL. Pretty cool feature.
I’ve been tagged by Dave. Here it is:

This month marks the one year anniversary for the APWBWGTTD thing. Tonight was the celebration. We started out at Trader Vic’s and ended the night at The EARL. The EARL has a pretty good patty melt. I think it was the marble rye that did it.
I took photos. They are on the internet.
It seems that when I get tired of the color of my site, I change it to green.
