DANGERDOOM is a collaboration between Danger Mouse, MF Doom and various [adult swim] characters. I ran into this while researching if any new Space Ghost Coast To Coast or The Brak Show DVDs where on the way. Plus, I think Robert might have played some for me once.

The CD as a whole is great. It has a NY sort of style to it and reminds me a lot of the older Wu-Tang projects. One thing that is a bit bothersome at first is that it’s edited, so there are a few beeps throughout. But, after a few listens I didn’t really notice them anymore. The disc features guest appearances from Cee-Lo, Ghostface Killah and Talib Kweli. On the cartoon voice side, there is Brak, Zorak, Space Ghost, Meatwad, Master Shake and Frylock (ATHF), Harvey Birdman, and others.

My favorite track is The Mask which features Ghostface with a little Brak and Zorak at the end. Every time I hear the Brak part I laugh my ass off. Other favorites are Space Ho’s, Sofa King and Old School which features Talib Kweli.

This purchase marked my first ever download from the iTunes Music Store. The process was nice and easy, plus I didn’t have to leave my apartment. Bonus points.
