The flickr v1 badge, the thing that shows random photos from my collection, is showing random photos from other peoples streams. This is a bug that is being discussed here.
The current workaround is to upgrade your badge to the newer v2 badge. The steps to do this are here. The new badge code carries a crapload of CSS styling and tables which I’m not really a fan of. I just stripped out the javascript call to generate the badge and placed it into my code. Easy enough.
Seems that flickr wants us to upgrade.
It should be noted that I have gone back to the v1 badge. v2 was causing some styling problems in IE (surprise) and I don’t feel like dealing with it right now.

Yeah, but even then it’s a pain if you self-styled them, it took me 45 minutes (FORTY FIVE)* to work a fix around as the no style spews out vertical images even though you ask it not to…
* = things like this should take 5 minutes, tops, grrrrrr flickr
