Drew, congratulations on the win at the festival in CA! Toby is definitely deserving. I’ve watched a few of your other films with my favorites being Cape Chaser and Pink Slip, after Toby of course.

So glad to hear you enjoyed my short, Losing Toby. We actually just won the student competition for Best Comedy at the Smogdance Film Festival in Pomona, California. So, an award, and a random positive review in the span of one week is pretty damn cool.

Hey there. My name is Andrew and I was the screenwriter on “Geekin’”. Everything you’re hearing is correct. The final cut of the film will be something like 10 minutes shorter than the version you saw. As for the darkness of it, we’ve never had that problem screening it anywhere until that day. So we don’t know what the problem is exactly, but we’re at least mostly sure it was on the theatre’s end. We’ll check into that to be sure.

As for DVD release, it will happen. Nothing specific yet, but there will be more info on the website later. Thanks for making the trek out to see it.
