Just remember, that I offered to pee on it for you. That’s a true friend, yo. I am glad I didn’t get stung, or go golfing, and that my legs are intact. Fun times!

careful about peeing on the stings, it’s a myth that it helps — vinegar works because it numbs the remaining jelly cells and they therefore can’t fire into you and cause more damage; but peeing on them can act as a trigger to make the remaining cells fire and cause more damage and a worse sting. around here we get box jelly’s which are often fatal, so it’s fairly well known not to pee and make it worse :)

My Dad got stung real bad. It looks like something wrapped thick rope around both his ankles. He said his ankles felt like they were on fire for 3 hours. This was two weeks ago and it looks like he was literally burnt! Was this a jellyfish?
