At long last and by request, I have added comments to my site. I went with HaloScan because they have a pretty simple to implement system and for a mere $12 donation, you can get access to all their advanced features. Normally I would have just gone with the basic/free account, but there were two very specific reasons why I wanted to upgrade: the premium account gains you access to the full HTML for the comment box, and the removal of all ads.
The reason for wanting access to the HTML is that I plan to get rid of their table-based implementation in favor of a CSS layout. As for the ads, I want to deliver ad-free content to my readers. Or, at the very least, I want to be able to control the ads you guys see (ie: text links to good sites, link buttons for services I use, etc).
Anyway, right now I am using one of their standard templates, so expect the layout to change a bit. Actually I plan to work on it some today, so by time you read this it may already be changed. Enjoy.
Finally…teetness.
Nice. Hey, you got a shoutout for it.

That’s it, I’m shaving my beard off tonight!
Beard? Gone? It can’t be true.
Yeah, its not true. My face looks deformed without it.
