completely incomplete.

There aren’t too many shows that I go out of my way to watch. One that I try to schedule my Sunday evenings around is The 4400. It started as a special-extended mini-series thing and turned into a weekly off-season season thing. A bunch of people (4400) disappear throughout time, then reappear and none of them have aged. For example, people that disappeared in 1918 at the age of 20 returned to the year 2004 at the age of 20. And some of them have come back with special powers. Simple.

There’s an X-Files type vibe to the show as each week tends to focus on a new 4400 and their special power. Investigating are NTAC agents Tom Baldwin and Diana Skouris. While Diana Skouris is pretty hot, she’s no Agent Dana Scully. Especially the Agent Scully from the later seasons. I miss the X-Files.

The best part about this particular season has been the addition of Jeffery Combs as Kevin Burkhoff. You may, or may not (and probably don’t), remember Combs as the lovable Dr. Herbert West from the Re-Animator series of movies. In The 4400, Combs plays a doctor-type that does some stuff to save some people. And the best part is that the serum that he develops to save said people is the same glow in the dark green that the re-animating serum is in the Re-Animator movies. Freaking awesome, the makers of The 4400 are.

Sadly, tonight was the season finale. So if you haven’t been watching, I might have just spoiled some stuff. Oh, and don’t read the title, because that spoiled a lot too. I don’t really care because you’ve missed a great show and should feel bad. Real bad.
