completely incomplete.

Lori invited some people over for Dogwood Festival pre-drinking, food, post-drinking, and food. The festival was much less crowded than in previous years thanks to the morning rain. Since I’m not really a fan of people, this worked out well. Thanks Lori!

The best part was when Duane, Dave and I decided that the trampoline in the backyard was looking a little lonely and we needed to check it out. Things started out pretty tame, but soon turned into flips and back flips. Long story short, I did a face plant into the trampoline and hurt myself. I managed to come away from it with a little facial bleeding and my neck hurts today. It was a great time.

Things I learned this weekend:

  1. Trampolines and drinking go together really well.
  2. Flexon glasses are pretty much indestructible.
  3. If anyone was worried about the durability of their Canon sd200, don’t be.
  4. Gravity is a cruel bitch.

I’ve also added a new category called ‘I Got Hurt’. I might go back through the archives and tag previous I Got Hurt moments.

Photos uploaded to flickr.
Video after Duane also got hurt on Vimeo.

Enjoy.

Great pics……Stacey and I really enjoyed them. Hope your injury feels better and heals soon. How did your glasses do, could not really tell from the pics.

I had to bend them a little but other than that, they’re fine. Please see number 2 above for further details.

The video with my knee is great. Best part is, I pratically do not remember that moment at all.

If it makes you feel better, I don’t remember taking video of it.

Doesn’t look too much worse than that time I roughed you up for making a move on me.

Also, I continue to be amazed at your random-flickr-photo-generater-thingy’s ability to show pictures from either my wedding or associated showers when I visit your site. It’s like you’re sniffing out my IP or something….

When I was a child I spoke as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things. :)
